Anchor Blue Latest Retailer To Feel Recession's Bite

Law360 (May 27, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Casual clothing retailer and outlet operator Anchor Blue Retail Group Inc. filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection Wednesday, the latest in a line of West Coast retailers to be taken down by the recession.

Anchor Blue Retail Group is the holding company for specialty retailer Anchor Blue and outlet store chain Levi’s & Dockers Outlet by Most. The Ontario, Calif.-based company filed its bankruptcy petition in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
