Enzo Settles DNA Patent Dispute

Law360, New York (September 19, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Sigma-Aldrich Corporation and its subsidiaries reached a settlement in a patent dispute with Enzo Biochem Inc., marking the first settlement in a slew of infringement cases over DNA technology filed by Enzo in 2002.

The settlement, the terms of which were not disclosed, resolves all issues stemming from the lawsuit brought by Enzo Biochem and Enzo Life Sciences, Sigma-Alrich said Tuesday. Yale University was also a party.
