2nd Van Der Moolen Trader Acquitted Of Front-Running

Law360 (September 19, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A former Van der Moolen Specialists USA LLC trader became the second at his company to be acquitted of securities fraud charges in an investigation into front-running on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange.

A 12-person jury found Richard Volpe not guilty of two counts of securities fraud on Monday. Volpe, 47, could have faced two decades in jail if convicted.
