Law360 (May 10, 2018, 7:47 PM EDT) -- President Donald Trump's decision to withdraw from the 2015 Iran nuclear deal has cast the U.S. as an unreliable ally and negotiator in the eyes of both allies and adversaries, and the effects on future international deals will be hard to shake, attorneys say.

Trump's announcement Tuesday that he would pull the U.S. out of the deal — the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, or JCPOA — significantly widened a diplomatic rift that had been opened by moves such as pulling out of the Paris Climate Accord, attorneys said.
