Home Depot Safety Device May Infringe Patent: Judge

Law360, New York (June 2, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has found that a device used at Home Depot USA Inc. stores to improve the safety of radial arm saws used to cut lumber for customers does not literally infringe a patent held by a Florida-based inventor, but may infringe under the doctrine of equivalents.
