NC Agency Leaps Into Duke Energy Plant CAA Fight

Law360, New York (June 2, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A North Carolina agency has asked to weigh in on a court battle to stop the construction of a Duke Energy Corp. coal-fired power plant in Cliffside, N.C., contending the environmental groups fighting the facility have "shifted their crosshairs" from the electricity provider to the state.
