Comerica Bank, Execs Hit With $4.4B Racketeering Suit

Law360 (May 15, 2018, 11:01 PM EDT) -- Comerica Bank and several of its executives were hit Monday with a $4.4 billion racketeering suit in Florida federal court alleging they helped a Florida billionaire put a Canadian yacht construction company out of business.

Worldspan Marine Inc. claims Comerica Bank helped Harry Sargeant III — who owns oil refineries, asphalt shipping companies and other entities — put the British Columbia yacht builder out of business by failing to pay for a 144-foot superyacht he ordered.
