Obama Pushes For Quick Action On Health Care

Law360, New York (June 3, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- President Barack Obama has said he remains "confident" that legislators will pass health care reform legislation by the end of the year and urged action on the issue before Congress goes into recess in August.

The president met with roughly two dozen Senate Democrats from the body's Finance Committee and Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee on Tuesday to discuss efforts to overhaul the nation's health care system.
