Ex-School Superintendent Indicted Over E-Rate Bribes

Law360, New York (June 3, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal grand jury has indicted a former Michigan school superintendent, accusing him of taking a bribe from an Internet service provider in exchange for granting the company a $1.6 million three-year contract through a program that subsidizes Web access for schools and libraries.

A grand jury in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan returned the two-count indictment of Bradley J. Hansen Tuesday.
