Deals Rumor Mill: Ingram Micro, Thyssenkrupp, Fortress

Law360 (May 22, 2018, 3:51 PM EDT) -- Several Chinese companies have interest in buying U.S. electronics distributor Ingram Micro Inc., which is owned by HNA Group Co. Ltd., according to a Tuesday report from Reuters. China Huarong Asset Management Co. Ltd. is among those that have expressed interest, according to the report. No other suitors were identified. HNA, which paid $6 billion for Ingram Micro a few years ago, has been listening to interested parties for at least the last few months, the report said.
