Ropes & Gray Partner Is Republican Candidate For NY AG

Law360 (May 24, 2018, 8:12 PM EDT) -- Keith H. Wofford, a Ropes & Gray LLP partner who co-manages the firm's New York office, got the nod on Thursday to run for state attorney general on the Republican ticket in the wake of Eric Schneiderman's abrupt downfall.

A majority of the party’s delegates voted for Wofford, a longtime bankruptcy attorney and political newcomer, at the state Republican convention on Thursday. Wofford told Law360 in an interview that he’s focused on protecting taxpayers and fighting corruption in Albany.
