Microtune Execs Win Bid For Andrews Kurth Docs

Law360 (June 4, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge overseeing claims of stock options backdating against two Microtune Inc. executives has granted their bid to force a subpoena against Andrews Kurth LLP, the firm hired to conduct an internal probe of the company, pooh-poohing the law firm's protestations of attorney-client privilege.

The executives — Microtune CEO Douglas Bartek and Chief Financial Officer Nancy Richardson — sought a motion to compel compliance with the subpoena after the firm withheld documents relating to an investigation that named the executives as conspirators in a backdating scheme...
