Supplement Maker Sues Rival Over Disparaging Claims

Law360 (June 5, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The maker of the creatine supplement Kre-Alkalyn has slammed rival CR-Technologies LLP with a lawsuit claiming CR-Technologies made false and disparaging statements about Kre-Alkalyn in order to promote its own competing supplement, Creasafe.

All American Pharmaceutical and Natural Foods Corp. launched the complaint against U.K.-based CR-Technologies and its co-founders on Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Montana, raising claims of commercial disparagement under the Lanham Act, tortious interference with business relations and business libel.
