Reckitt Hits Watson Again Over Mucinex ANDAs

Law360 (June 8, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Reckitt Benckiser Inc. has fired off a fourth lawsuit against Watson Pharmaceuticals Inc. over the generic-drug maker’s attempts to develop knockoff versions of Mucinex cough treatments.

On Friday, Reckitt filed a second complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, claiming Watson infringed two patents when seeking regulatory approval for a generic version of Reckitt’s Mucinex D expectorant.
