Trustee Objects To Releases For Chrysler Officers

Law360, New York (June 8, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An effort by Chrysler LLC to secure a release for its current directors and officers from third-party liability has hit a snag, as the U.S. trustee monitoring the company's Chapter 11 proceedings has attacked the request as unclear, inappropriate and overly broad.

U.S. Trustee Diana G. Adams filed her objection to the request on Friday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
