Judge Tosses Texas Suit Over Open Boreholes

Law360 (June 9, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit filed by a Texas county against a uranium mining company for allegedly contaminating the county's groundwater by failing to close exploratory boreholes, rejecting the county's novel argument that the company effectively created injection wells without permits.
