Omega Oil Drops Trade Secrets Spat Against Rival

Law360, New York (June 9, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Oil recovery technology and production company Omega Oil Co. has dropped a suit alleging that Rock Well Petroleum Inc. — founded by Omega's former president — used Omega trade secrets to unjustly enrich itself to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars.

Judge T. John Ward of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on Monday approved the dismissal of the case with prejudice.
