Enviro Impact Report For Chevron Expansion Nixed

Law360 (June 9, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge has rejected an environmental impact report on a plan to expand a Chevron Corp. oil refinery in Richmond, Calif., and ruled that the city ran afoul of state law by letting the energy giant wait a year after receiving a permit for the project to submit a plan to mitigate the expansion's greenhouse gas emissions.
