Cell Phone Spyware: Absurd? Or a New Concern?

Law360, New York (June 9, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- As if it is not bad enough that employers have to monitor computers, phones and other electronic communications of employees, here comes the next wave of e-caution.

With new spy software that is available on the open market, an employee “spy” can upload a spyware program to a manager’s cell phone and then listen in on the manager’s calls. The spy can also track the manager, know his/her location at all times and remotely activate the speakerphone to hear live conversations.
