Jury Backs Oil Co. In Royalty Class Action

Law360, New York (June 10, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Bucking the trend in natural gas royalty disputes, a Colorado jury has rejected allegations by thousands of royalty owners that K.P. Kauffman Co. Inc. underpaid natural gas royalties and owes millions for gas yielded in processing in addition to volumes drawn at the wellhead.
