Law360 (July 1, 2018, 10:03 PM EDT) -- Once again, Justice Stephen Breyer was the most talkative member of the U.S. Supreme Court during oral arguments, but another member of the court turned heads by speaking out 50 percent more than she did in the prior term.
A Law360 analysis revealed that Justice Sonia Sotomayor, already known as one of the most active questioners at oral arguments, had even more questions and comments for Supreme Court advocates this term, speaking for 7,079 lines of oral argument transcripts, compared with only 4,824 lines during the October 2016 term.
