FCC Seeks Input On Securus' Prison Phone Rival Deal

Law360 (July 2, 2018, 6:12 PM EDT) -- The Federal Communications Commission announced Monday that it has launched a comment period on prominent prison-phone operator Securus Technologies Inc.’s bid to acquire one of its dominant competitors from TKC Holdings Inc.

The agency indicated it will accept initial comments on the proposed transaction, which would let Securus add Inmate Calling Solutions LLC as a subsidiary, until July 16, and it will collect reply comments until July 23.
