$3M Added To Vicor Award In Payout Coverage Spat

Law360 (June 11, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has entered an amended judgment of more than $16 million — increasing the amount by over $3 million — against Vigilant Insurance Co., Federal Insurance Co. and Continental Casualty Co. in a coverage dispute with Vicor Corp. over a settlement payout to Ericsson Wireless Communications Inc.

The judgment, issued Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, tacked $3,178,882 in prejudgment interest on to a $13.3 million verdict for a total award of $16,478,882.
