100s Of Asbestos Claims Against Dana Dropped

Law360, New York (June 15, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Hundreds of South Florida residents who filed suit against the formerly bankrupt Dana Corp. over asbestos-related product liability allegations have moved to dismiss their claims against the auto parts maker after almost seven years of litigation.

Almost 400 plaintiffs filed a motion for dismissal on Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, following on the heels of another massive group of individuals who dropped their claims against Dana in the same court.
