E&Y Won't Back Down In Lehman Subpoena Fight

Law360, New York (June 17, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Ernst & Young has fired back a response to an independent examiner's memo slamming E&Y for dodging a subpoena of Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. audit records, contending that many of those documents are of “highly questionable relevance.”

In the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York on Tuesday, E&Y submitted a response to a court filing from the examiner charged with probing Lehman's collapse.
