Ceva Freight Workers Launch OT Class Action

Law360, New York (June 18, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Ceva Freight LLC is facing a collective action from former employees alleging the international logistics company systematically denies its freight and shipping personnel overtime pay in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

The complaint, lodged Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, claims Ceva has a policy of depriving its salaried shipping personnel of overtime pay even though they regularly work more than 40 hours each week.
