Zeon Settles Ky. Emissions Claims For $1.1M

Law360, New York (June 19, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A group of Kentucky residents living near a Zeon GP chemical plant has reached a $1.1 million deal with the company that also provides for air monitoring and reforms to the facility worth millions more, settling a dispute over air pollution.

The Louisville, Ky.-based plaintiffs asked the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky for final approval of the agreement on Thursday.
