Korean FTC Targets Qualcomm Over IP Licenses

Law360, New York (June 19, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Following a three-year antitrust investigation, the Korean Fair Trade Commission has reportedly accused technology company Qualcomm Inc. of using unfair patent licensing terms.

The KFTC alleges that Qualcomm set unreasonable and discriminatory patent licensing terms, Reuters reported Thursday.

The agency held hearings recently regarding Qualcomm, scheduled two more hearings and said it expected to reach a decision in July, according to Reuters.
