Energy Guru Jumps From Troutman Sanders To Schiff

Law360, New York (June 19, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Schiff Hardin LLP has lured a partner from Troutman Sanders LLP to its energy and public utilities group in Washington.

Roger E. Smith, who joined the firm on June 5, will continue his Federal Energy Regulatory Commission regulatory practice.

“The No. 1 reason is it's just a very good fit with my experience, who I represent and what the firm represents,” Smith said of his motivation to join Schiff.
