Frontier Proposes $110M Sale To Republic Airways

Law360, New York (June 23, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Bankrupt Frontier Airlines Holdings Inc. has pitched a proposal to emerge from Chapter 11 protection as a subsidiary of Republic Airways Holdings Inc., a company that has already agreed to provide $40 million in debtor-in-possession financing commitments to the bankrupt airline.

Denver-based Frontier filed a disclosure statement and reorganization plan Monday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, proposing to sell itself completely to Republic for $108.8 million, pending the outcome of an auction.
