Cintas Loses Bid To Halt Arbitration In OT Dispute

Law360, New York (June 23, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge has denied a motion by Cintas Corp. for a preliminary injunction halting the collective arbitration of overtime pay claims by the company's army of sales representatives.

Judge Saundra Brown Armstrong, who is presiding over the arbitration litigation in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, said Friday that the uniform manufacturer had failed to convince the court that it would suffer irreparable injury absent an immediate injunction.
