More UAW Workers Choose To Depart Delphi

Law360, New York (September 27, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The mass exodus from bankrupt Delphi Corp. shows no signs of stopping, as another 1,400 workers have opted for the proffered early retirement buyout plan.

On Tuesday, the beleaguered Michigan-based auto supplier revealed that it expects to lose approximately 70% of its workforce by the end of the year. It continues working towards emerging from bankruptcy as a smaller operation.
