Enviros Urge Clinton To Reject Oil Sands Pipelines

Law360, New York (June 26, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- More than a dozen environmental groups, including ForestEthics and the Sierra Club, are urging Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to deny permits for proposed pipelines that would bring in oil from Canada's tar sands, arguing that the U.S. shouldn't become dependent on what has been called the dirtiest oil on Earth.
