Madoff Gets The Maximum

Law360, New York (June 26, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A packed courtroom on Monday erupted into cheers as Bernard L. Madoff was sentenced to 150 years in prison, the maximum penalty that could be imposed for his role in masterminding a fraud estimated at $65 billion that lasted more than two decades.
