Innis Arden Golf Club Whiffs In PCB Cleanup Case

Law360, New York (June 29, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The judge overseeing a case brought by Innis Arden Golf Club against Pitney Bowes Inc. and Pateley Associates 1 LLC over polychlorinated biphenyl contamination at the century-old golf club has granted the defendants summary judgment, ruling that the plaintiffs' expert testimony should be tossed.

Judge Janet Bond Arterton of the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut on Friday granted the defendants' motion for summary judgment and upheld earlier sanctions issued against the golf club in the case, concurring that the expert testimony is unreliable....
