DOJ Marine Products Bid-Rigging Probe Hooks Exec

Law360, New York (June 30, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The CEO of a now-defunct marine products company is the latest executive to plead guilty to rigging bids for U.S. Department of Defense and other contracts, the U.S. Department of Justice has announced.

Frank A. March, the former chief executive of an unnamed Clearbrook, Va.-based marine products firm, has agreed to pay a $100,000 criminal fine and serve time in prison for his role in a conspiracy to rig bids and allocate customers, the DOJ said Tuesday.
