The UK's Plans For Aviation In Case Of A No-Deal Brexit
Law360 (October 30, 2018, 2:21 PM EDT) -- While the government of the United Kingdom stresses that it is still working on and hoping for a negotiated outcome, the possibility of the U.K.'s departure from the European Union on March 29, 2019, without an agreement having been reached with the EU is now being given serious consideration.
In August, the government started issuing a series of technical notices concerning various aspects of a "no-deal" scenario. On Sept. 24, it published three notices relevant to aviation, concerning flights, security and safety, the main contents of which are summarized and discussed below.
