Electricians Reach $4.2M Deal With Power Co. Over Meetings

Law360 (November 5, 2018, 3:24 PM EST) -- A proposed class of Wisconsin Electric Power Co. workers has asked a Wisconsin federal judge to greenlight a $4.2 million settlement with the company that will resolve claims they weren't paid for certain pre-work meetings in violation of state and federal labor laws.

The workers lodged their preliminary approval request for the settlement on Friday, telling the court that their agreement with Wisconsin Electric Power, which operates as We Energies, was fair and noncollusive.
