Group Hits EPA Over Pesticides' Effect On Polar Bears

Law360, New York (July 8, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An environmental group has given notice that it will sue the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency alleging a failure to consider the impact of toxic contamination from U.S. pesticide use on the polar bear and its habitat.

The Center for Biological Diversity on Tuesday gave the EPA its 60-day notice of intent to sue, it said.
