High Court Denies Detroit Newspapers' Appeal

Law360, New York (October 2, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Ending a dispute that started eleven years ago, the Supreme Court refused to hear the Detroit Newspaper Agency’s appeal of a National Labor Relations Board ruling that ordered them to reinstate employees fired after a union strike.

Declining to hear the Detroit Newspaper Agency’s appeal of the NLRB ruling, the high court gave its support to the newspaper unions and employees.
