Ex-Buchanan Lawyer Joins Eckert Seamans' Tax Practice

Law360 (December 18, 2018, 8:13 PM EST) -- Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott LLC has announced that a former Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC lawyer experienced in domestic and international tax planning is joining the firm as a member in its Pittsburgh office.

According to a Eckert Seamans statement Monday, Christine Bowers joined the firm after eight years at Buchanan and will work with clients on the tax implications of forming and operating corporations, pass-through entities and acquisitions, dispositions and reorganizations.

Bowers said it was hard to leave her previous firm, but one reason she left was the diversity at Eckert Seamans.
