Orrick Adds Ex-Norton Rose Energy Tax Expert In NY

Law360 (January 18, 2019, 10:37 PM EST) -- Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP has announced that a former tax partner at Norton Rose Fulbright with a focus on renewable energy joined the firm in its New York office.

Michael Masri joined the firm Thursday after working for seven years at Chadbourne & Parke LLP, which merged into Norton Rose in June 2017. According to Orrick, Masri will advise clients on energy tax credits and other tax initiatives related to renewable energy projects and mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, Masri will assist clients on federal income tax matters, including domestic and cross-border M&A, restructurings, financings and private equity.
