Albuquerque City Workers Win Collective Action Cert.

Law360, New York (July 21, 2009, 5:39 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has allowed a lawsuit alleging that the city of Albuquerque cheated its employees out of overtime pay to proceed as a collective action, clearing the way for more than 200 former and current city workers to join the four named plaintiffs in the suit.

Judge James O. Browning of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico on Wednesday certified the suit as a collective action.
