House OKs $150M For Natural Gas Vehicle Research

Law360, New York (July 22, 2009, 1:55 PM EDT) -- The U.S. House of Representatives has passed a measure sponsored by Rep. John Sullivan, R-Okla., that would add five years to a U.S. Department of Energy program studying and deploying natural gas vehicle technology designed to increase gas mileage and clean up emissions.

The House on Tuesday voted 393-35 to reauthorize the Natural Gas Vehicle Research, Development, Demonstration and Deployment Program for five years.
