Insurer Sues Baltimore Over $2.5M Demolition Defense

Law360, New York (July 22, 2009, 11:58 PM EDT) -- Colony Insurance Co. on Wednesday hit the city of Baltimore, three of its housing department employees and a local construction company with a suit claiming it is not obligated to defend them in a $2.5 million suit accusing the city of wrongfully ordering the demolition of an individual’s property.
