Cordis Loses Motion For Judgment In Stent IP Case

Law360, New York (July 23, 2009, 10:22 PM EDT) -- A judge has batted down Cordis Corp.'s motion for summary judgment in its ongoing patent battle with Boston Scientific Corp. over a drug-eluting stent, saying she didn't have enough information to rule in Cordis' favor.

Judge Sue Robinson denied Cordis' motion on Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware. Cordis hadn't presented enough technical information on an element of the stent in question, her decision said.
