Ohio Asst. Managers Slap Rite Aid With Overtime Suit

Law360, New York (July 23, 2009, 4:36 PM EDT) -- A group of assistant store managers has hit Rite Aid Corp. and subsidiary Eckerd Corp. with a putative class action under the Ohio Minimum Fair Wage Standards Act, claiming the managers were unfairly exempted from overtime pay.

Robert Vasvari filed the complaint Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio on behalf of all Rite Aid and Eckerd assistant store managers in the state.
