U. Of Pittsburgh Wins Fight Over Stem Cell Patent

Law360, New York (July 23, 2009, 9:55 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has upheld a decision that two University of Pittsburgh scientists are the sole inventors of a patent on stem cells derived from fat, dealing a setback for a group of University of California — Los Angeles researchers who claimed they helped contribute to the invention.
