Texas Pharma Sales Rep Pleads Guilty To $8M Fraud

Law360 (February 22, 2019, 7:07 PM EST) -- A former pharmaceutical sales representative has pled guilty for her role in what prosecutors say is an $8 million health care fraud scheme in which she personally pocketed more than $1 million.

Holly Blakely, 45, of San Antonio was charged in a 30-count indictment for the fraud in July 2017, according to court records. On Thursday, the U.S. Department of Justice announced she had entered a guilty plea to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, health care fraud, bribery and paying kickbacks.
