Union Pacific Sues To Head Off $8M Cleanup Claim

Law360, New York (July 27, 2009, 6:30 PM EDT) -- Union Pacific Railroad Co. has filed suit against River Front Properties LLC, claiming the real estate developer shouldn't be able to recover $8 million spent cleaning up a brownfield site in Spokane, Wash., formerly owned by the railroad operator.
